I’ve devoted my entire career to developing sustainable agricultural, agri-food, and rural projects. After completing my studies in agronomy, I supported international projects focused on modernizing forest nurseries in Africa and Latin America. Later, I joined Nature Québec, where I worked on a variety of contemporary issues related to nature conservation, ecosystem preservation, and the sustainable use of resources—with a special focus on agriculture. In 2014, it was only natural that my path led me to direct the newly created Cooperative for Ecological Local Agriculture (Coopérative pour l’agriculture de proximité écologique - CAPÉ), a role I proudly held for four years.

In 2018, I joined the Centre for Social Innovation in Agriculture (CISA) at Cégep de Victoriaville, where I’ve continued to grow my expertise in applied research in social innovation. With strong experience working with farmers as well as with stakeholders in procurement, municipalities, and the broader agri-food sector, I’ve had the chance to lead many action research projects. These include advancing local fruit and vegetable marketing, developing training tools for L’ARTERRE’s farm succession agents, supporting the creation of a coordinated Regional Strategy to increase local food in Arthabaska’s institutions, and co-creating Victoriaville’s very first urban agriculture plan.
