I’m a curious and passionate person. For me, innovation is a path toward development—and it’s the one I’ve chosen to follow. Agriculture, the environment, and education have always been at the heart of my commitments. I was a farmer for 20 years and an early pioneer in organic agriculture, working in fruit, grain, and livestock production. I also co-founded Environnement-Jeunesse (ENJEU), an organization that has been carrying out its mission of environmental education since 1979.

Wanting children to understand better and appreciate agriculture, I later co-founded Ferme pédagogique Marichel, a non-profit that has been welcoming groups and running farm-based summer camps for nearly 30 years. My experience in agriculture has also taken me abroad—to Senegal and Haiti—where, over the past 20 years, I’ve worked as a project manager and trainer with leaders of farmers’ organizations.

Today, I have the privilege of collaborating with Indigenous communities and with CISA to support agri-food initiatives that hold promise for the future. Through it all, curiosity and passion remain my driving forces.
