I chose to study Food Science and Technology as a way to bridge science with people’s everyday lives. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in various agri-food companies, gaining experience across multiple departments, including research and development, quality assurance, and logistics. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel to more than 35 countries, where I observed not only how food production sites are organized, but also how cities themselves are structured. Alongside my professional path, I’ve stayed connected to my community by volunteering with local organizations, and more recently by joining my municipality’s town council, where I help promote a city designed for all its residents. In my work, I’m especially drawn to projects focused on regional food systems, as well as on public and regional policy.
