Curiosity, sensitivity, and adaptability are probably the qualities that best describe both my journey and who I am as a person.
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychoeducation and a graduate diploma in Nature and Adventure Intervention, I was quickly drawn north, where the vitality of Québec’s communities inspired me. This path led me to work as a psychosocial practitioner in the Inuit community of Akulivik and the Atikamekw community of Manawan. These meaningful experiences convinced me to pursue a master’s in Social Innovation Management—an academic journey I’m actively working on today. Along the way, I also had the opportunity to support participants at a therapeutic farm focused on mental health, which helped ground my aspirations and made joining the team at CISA feel like a natural step.
Since 2023, I’ve been working with CISA to support projects that strengthen food autonomy in northern communities such as Manawan, Opitciwan, and Nunavik. I aspire to contribute to a world that is socially richer and environmentally more sustainable—a world where people are at the heart of every process, and where communities care for each other as well as the living beings that surround them. For me, the meeting point between self and others has always been, and will remain, my greatest source of motivation.
