My passion for understanding human and organisational dynamics in agriculture has driven my work for over twenty years, focusing on making practices more sustainable and equitable. With a background in economics and agri-food management, I have explored the various facets of the agricultural sector, particularly through research, teaching, and fieldwork. I have managed a natural foods cooperative, participated in several studies on working conditions in agriculture, and contributed to projects on mentoring, organic sourcing, and marketing. These experiences have given me a better understanding of the realities faced by local producers, while developing concrete approaches to support their autonomy and improve their conditions.
Since 2011, I have taught in the agriculture department at Cégep de Victoriaville, helping students develop skills in management, strategic planning, and agricultural entrepreneurship. Notable achievements include supporting student-led business initiatives and developing curriculum enhancements. At CISA, I have contributed my expertise to collaborative social innovation projects, where I have helped co-construct innovative solutions addressing agri-food sector challenges. My primary goal is to advance practices and organisational structures that facilitate business development and improve the well-being of agricultural workers.
