I am originally from Coaticook and grew up deeply connected to the agricultural world, surrounded by farms and traditional family knowledge. Over the past eight years, I have pursued a career in graphic design; however, my strong ties to agriculture have continued to grow, fueled by hands-on experiences in urban farming, beekeeping, and flower cultivation.
These experiences led me to complete a specialized program at the Institut national d’agriculture biologique (INAB), where I deepened my understanding of the social aspects connected to the agricultural sector. Today, I continue to explore these interests as a research assistant at the Centre for Social Innovation in Agriculture (CISA).
I believe that every agricultural project should be developed in close collaboration with the people who inhabit the land. My journey has made me acutely aware of the powerful connection between nature and human well-being—both physical and mental. I view agriculture as a key lever for social inclusion, helping individuals reconnect with themselves and their communities.
Currently, I am actively involved in applied research projects in the field of social agriculture, focusing on next-generation farmers, climate change adaptation, food security, and civic engagement. Through these initiatives, I strive to contribute to concrete solutions that promote greater sustainability, humanity, and resilience in agricultural practices, fostering a type of agriculture that is truly rooted in community.
