Growing food has been my passion since childhood. After completing my initial cégep studies in natural sciences, I worked for the first time on an organic vegetable farm, where I truly fell in love with farming. Since then, I have worked on several farms and become familiar with a wide variety of products, including fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, pasture-raised beef and lamb, among others. I then continued my studies at the cégep de Victoriaville, where I completed a technical program, Gestion et technologies d'entreprise agricole. My work experience, the inspiring farming community I've been part of, and my studies have fueled my curiosity about several aspects of the field, including collective and holistic projects, land use and management, and access to local and organic food. I still work as a farm laborer, where I hope to continue improving my skills in mechanical weeding and cover crop management.
