I’m a geographer by training, and my interests lie in the regional and spatial dynamics that shape social innovation. I’m convinced that the social and environmental challenges facing the agri-food sector are best addressed through collective solutions that are closely tied to local realities. What motivates me most is supporting people in the field as they design, test, and share their projects.
My master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development gives me a multidisciplinary perspective on CISA’s different areas of research, which is why I’m involved in so many of them. That said, my main focus areas are food logistics hubs, institutional food procurement and marketing, farm succession, and the governance of non-profits.
