Jeanne Ayotte-Bournival

I have been a teacher since 2020 and worked for several years with 16- to 19-year-olds experiencing learning and behavioral difficulties. Over time, I developed a deep passion for supporting and intervening with this group of students.

In 2024, I began a Master’s in Education with a focus on psychopedagogy. My practices and my thesis are rooted in developmental and cognitive theories, and I am particularly interested in the analysis and understanding of behaviors.

Driven by a desire to better support neurodivergent youth, I turned my attention to their socio-professional integration and joined the CISA team in 2025.

Research interests:

  • Psychosexual and socio-affective development

  • Cognitive-behavioral theory

  • Success factors and the sense of self-efficacy (Bandura)

  • Perezhivanie and the meaning of experience (Vygotsky)
