I hold a multidisciplinary academic background that bridges economics and marketing, nutrition, and behavioral psychology (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.). My expertise lies in developing strategies that encourage healthy eating behaviors, improving economic access to nutritious food for all, strengthening local food systems, and supporting the marketing of locally produced foods.
At the CISA, my current research focuses on improving food security and territorialized food systems, particularly through initiatives such as food voucher programs and solidarity gardens. Alongside my research, I teach at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at Université Laval and the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. I also give lectures to food producers and processors as part of Université Laval’s Entrepreneurship in Agriculture training platform.
In addition, I am active in maple syrup production and provide consulting services to start-up companies developing healthy food products.
These experiences, built over the past fifteen years, have given me a deep understanding of the agricultural and food sectors, as well as the social, environmental, and economic challenges they face.
