I hold a bachelor's degree in Food Science and have a strong interest in the role of the agri-food sector in the current transformation of our food systems. My experience working in food processing businesses and shared-use facilities has allowed me to engage with a variety of stakeholders on the ground.
These experiences have prompted me to explore how food systems operate in Quebec, particularly regarding the management of food waste and residual materials. This interest led me to pursue a master’s degree in Food Security, through which I gained a deeper understanding of food systems. My academic journey also emphasized the significance of interdisciplinary approaches in social innovation. I am motivated by a desire to better understand the world around me, particularly the systems that nourish us every day. The topics that inspire me most include food system transitions, food security, and alternative business models.
